IN VITRO FERTILISATION

A founding member of North Shore Fertility Services (now Fertility Associates), Dr Heron has extensive experience of investigating and supporting women who are struggling to conceive – particularly women of 35 plus.

He is a knowledgeable and practicised specialist of in vitro fertilisation (IVF)- the process of fertilising the woman’s egg with the male’s sperm outside of the woman’s body in the laboratory, and placing carefully-selected, successfully fertilised eggs (or embryos) into the uterus for development in a normal pregnancy.

Dr Heron has treated many infertile couples using the IVF procedure and can advise you on where to go for treatment options, and assist with counselling and investigations before treatment.
