"After a few weeks I'm dancing again and feel as if I haven't had an operation" - Mrs RC

"My experience was a very positive one throughout. Everything was arranged quickly and empathetically and the surgery was nothing short of amazing. There are no remaining signs apart from two tiny (about 1cm) scars either side of the lower abdomen. Following surgery I had no pain and no need of painkillers." - Mrs CR

"Any fears I may have had were soon allayed thanks to clear, direct and full information given to me by the surgeon Dr Chris Heron, in a most reassuring and considerate manner. " - Mrs WB

"Dear Chris, Just thought I’d let you know how very, very pleased I am with the HRT cream - as for as I’m concerned, it is a small pot of magic. My anxiety levels have dropped dramatically, and the hot flushes have gone. Looking back on the last 12 months or so, it seems to me that I was pre-menstrual all that time - panicky, anxious, and much less able to cope with difficult things that I usually am~ Thank you so much for checking my estrogen levels, and for suggesting This solution. I feel a million times better..." - Mrs MA

To Those Who May Be Thinking About It

It is possibly not what you wish to do but the chances are that you need to do it. My mind always said I would never do it but my body told me otherwise

A Hysterectomy!!!!!
Seems very final doesn't it?!!!!

Certainly I had to think about it after having been told that I needed it. The process was to be carried out vaginally, which sounded totally invasive and damaging. In fact I decided to seek a second opinion through Dr Heron following a recommendation from a highly experienced Theatre Nurse. The outcome was that I chose to change loyalties from my previous 'favourite Gynaecologist' (we all have them) to Dr Heron to ensure the best result - one which was much less invasive and required a much shorter recovery period.

The process (with the support of Dr Heron's practice assistant, Robyn) was made as simple as possible for me and within weeks of first seeing Dr Heron, the surgery was completed and I was back to work. This was important to me, as I own my own business and was conscious of time out.

The whole process reminded me of dare I say it, 'having babies' all those years ago. This is not such a bad thing really - those memories are still special and we soon forgot any downsides at the time.

I would certainly recommend that you seek the appropriate professional opinion prior to making any decisions regarding a hysterectomy or any corrective surgery. My recommendation is to refer to Dr Chris Heron.

I should say 'good luck' - but you don't really need it. With the right people you'll be just fine.

By the way - don't forget to ask Dr Heron about 'Wave Brilliance' when you meet him - With Regards - Christine
